Deck Replacement and Wood Burning Fireplace Installation in Greensboro, NC
Our wonderful clients wanted to save some money on their overall budget and apply it to a custom designed and built cultured stone fireplace, so we removed all the decking boards, side railings, and balusters. We also removed the stairs and relocated them to become more of a central focal point leading to the backyard.
After replacing a number of joists and leveling out the deck OLRzz then installed TimberTech Composite Decking boards. We also rebuilt both set of stairs using TimberTech as the stair treads. OLRzz designed and built custom railings using TimberTech Solid Decking Boards and aluminum balusters for long term durability.
OLRzz designed and built a wood burning fireplace with custom cabinets made out of Iroku wood and wrapped in cultural stone. The fireplace is 13’ wide and one 4’x4’ cabinet on each side. The cabinets and hearth are toped with rainbow rock that are clients just loved. The cabinets provide storage for wood along with outdoor essentials.
We also built a custom pergola from cedar and stained it gray to match the composite decking boards. We installed a sun shade that you can open and close when you like by ShadeTree Retractable Deck and Patio Canopies. The pergola has a modern feel look which the home owners requested. Overall we are very satisfied with the outcome of this project.
